Remote HD Lite App Reviews

Nicely done app for remote controlling your mac ( dont know whether it works with windows/linux). It is particularly useful for general control, offering touch control of your macs screen (which is mirrored to the app), including pinch-zooming for fine-control, simulated touchpad and keyboard and direct access to the dock. If you need specific control of one particular application, you should look for a specialized app first. Starting applications directly is also offered, but doesnt seem to work anymore, though, please fix this. Nice-to-have: merge the media-control with the touchpad. That way you dont have to switch back and forth between them. At least the volume control should be included in the touchpad.

It can find the computers on my network, but yet cannot connect to them, even if my computers firewall is properly set. When trying to edit the connections to add a manual one, the application crashes. Really disappointed. Good thing I havent bought the full version first.

This app is so good I used the in-app upgrade. Which gave me the full features of the full version. The downside of that is that I still have the lite icon and the upgrade is only good on one device. So I dont have it on my touch just the iPhone. I wish that was made clear to me or I would have bought the full version(reason for the loss of one star). Otherwise this app Is really amazing! Dont pay 20 or 25 bucks for apps that do the same thing if at all.

Downloaded app thinking it was the full version. No indication of LITE and still wants me to upgrade...shame on you.

Unless u buy full version this is a waste of timw save some money and buy full version straight away. U cant use anything on lite

Got it only to control Apple TV - read details carefully before buying only to find out after purchase its only supported by full version

This is a great little app and a lot better than any of the competition out there. Refresh time and functionality are second to none. Very easy to get set up and running. Great customer support.

Sometimes ive connection problems

The lite version doesnt do anything. You just get constant screens asking you to upgrade. I found Remote tap to be cheaper and do everything this is suppose to do. I didnt try the full ver of Remote Jr. So I can say if that works but why take the chance.

I love it and want to buy the full verison.

It took all of 10 min. to purchase the full version. Things sure have came a long way!!!!!!! A+++++++{

This app rocks!

I bought this version and it looked great so I upgraded to the full version. Parts of it are GREAT! I love seeing whats on my computer through my iPhone. I can launch programs, change the volume, almost anything I want to with my iPhone now. HOWEVER there are some issues that keep this as just an ok program as opposed to a must have. These are from the full version. Im using an iPhone 3GS paired with a new MacBook Pro. 1.) If you launch the trackpad from the normal view (portrait) it works great, but if you turn your phone upside down its supposed to automatically launch the trackpad, but it only works sometimes. It launches but you cannot control anything. I dont have that problem if I launch it right side up though. 2.) When you put it in landscape mode you get a view of your computer screen (the entire reason I bought it). If you use the "navigate" mode you get a courser that you can move like the trackpad BUT when ever you go to double click something to select it our launch it more symbols come up (allowing you to right click or write something). This is VERY annoying when you are simply wanting to select something. Sometimes it takes 10 to 15 taps to actually get it to select something. Grrrrr. A two finger tap can be used to right click just like when you launch trackpad. And you can launch keyboard in the pulldown screen up top so why have these 2 symbols pop up EVERY TIME you click the courser? 3.) While in landscape mode you can also use "controls" which brings up 4 arrows and what looks like a stop button on the left and 5 more buttons on the right which include a RW, Play/Pause, and FF buttons along with "menu" and another button which launches "visualizer" in iTunes. They can also change to buttons that allow you to switch screens. The problem is that they take up most of the screen, you can dim them but they dont seem to work when they are dimmed. Also in iTunes they basically do the same thing (the buttons on the left and the right). Also Ill be trying to go down my song lists and all of a sudden it jumps over and clicks on iTunes store or hits one of my play lists. No idea why. 4.) For some reason, if my iPhone moves around the mouse courser on my computer sometime starts to go haywire and starts moving around with the movement of the phone. These are all simple fixes and I hope that they do fix them soon! If they do (especially #2) then this program would quickly become a 5 plus star must have!

I liked the idea of it but the version I purchased earlier this month operated very slowly. It took about ten minutes to open one folder. It takes some figuring out, like most things and the navigation can be tricky. Its real easy to "fat finger" it and open up the wrong things. I tossed it in the trash and deleted it by mistake. The "alias" is still in my applications but its useless now. So Im out $5.99.

Okay so this app works great but my only complaint is the icon. I have like an OCD for this and I cant stand the icon. Change it! Otherwise, this works great!

Like it sooooo much. This app does what I needed three apps to do b4. It takes only few seconds to get it up and working. After trying light version I upgraded to pro version and I couldn’t be happier!
